Journey Road is a non-profit organization focused on strengthening foster families in their ministry to foster children. God has called us to stand in the gap and provide much needed support to those caring for orphans.

The hub of the ministry is located on a 35 acre farm in Pickton, TX. The property has seven homes that are occupied by foster and respite families. On the farm we are able to model a system of support that we believe fosters a healthy environment for hurting children. In addition to the ministry that happens within the families at Journey Road, we focus on supporting other foster families in the Northeast Texas area in the following ways:

• Provide much needed resources such as diapers, car seats, beds, clothing, etc.

• Host special events for foster families to attend such as Easter and Back to School.

• Partner with area businesses, organizations, and churches to provide Christmas wish list and back to school clothing and school supplies.

• Supply dinner for families when they receive a new placement.

• Offer emotional support to foster parents.

• Cultivate Christian foster and respite families.

• Coordinate "Parent Day or Night Out" opportunities with area churches for foster families.

The opportunities are endless with what the Lord has provided. We want to honor Him above all things by doing all we can to help hurting and confused children find His love and a safe and secure home.
